It can go both towards my "horror education" and my "Japanese film education" needs - yay! Although I didn't like <i>Ringu</i> very much. Tell you which J-horror I did recently like - <i>Retribution</i> (<i>Sakebi</i>) by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. It lost itself a little at the end, but it was very creepy in a good way before that.
